The "Dictionary of Education" (1936, Iwanami Shoten), edited by Abe, Kido, Sasaki Shuichi, and Shinohara Sukeichi, was compiled based on the idea that in an age when social reform cannot be planned without considering education, knowledge about education is not only for teachers but also for the general public, and shows the achievement of pedagogy before the war.
