Neo-Dada Organizers

In 1960, this anti-art group was formed by young men in their twenties, including Akasegawa Genpei, Arakawa Shusaku, Kazakura Sho (Shosaku), Shinohara Ushio, and Yoshimura Masunobu, who were to exhibit at the Yomiuri Independent Exhibition (Japan Independent Exhibition). The group held its first exhibition at the Ginza Gallery in April of the same year. Later, Kishimoto Kiyoko, Tanaka Shintaro, and Yoshino Tatsumi joined, with Kudo Tetsumi and Miki Tomio also joining from outside. During the heyday of Art Informel, they awakened to the significance of actions and materials that go beyond painting and sculpture, and after their first exhibition they took part in anti-Security Treaty demonstrations and continued to hold ritualistic shows at Yoshimura's studio and on Zaimokuza Beach in Kamakura, but failed in their dream plan to blow up the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, and the group fell apart after just five months.

1960年，読売アンデパンダン展(日本アンデパンダン展)に出品する赤瀬川原平，荒川修作，風倉匠(省作)，篠原有司男，吉村益信ら，20歳代の青年が結成した反芸術的集団。同年4月，第1回展(銀座画廊)開催。のち岸本清子，田中信太郎，吉野辰海らが加わり，工藤哲己や三木富雄も外部から行動をともにした。彼らは，アンフォルメル全盛の時期に，絵画や彫刻をはみだす行為と物質の意義にめざめて，第1回展ののち安保反対デモに加わり，吉村のアトリエや鎌倉材木座海岸で儀式めいたショーをつづけたが，夢想的な東京都美術館爆破計画に挫折し，わずか5ヵ月で空中分解する。
