Nishikigaura

The coastline of the southern part of Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, in the southern part of Uomizaki. Facing the Sagami Bay, this sea cliff stretches for about 2 kilometers and is blessed with scenic beauty, including strange rock formations such as Kabuto Rock, Eboshi Rock, and Byobu Rock, as well as the sea cave of Tainai-Kuguri. It was once known as a popular suicide spot, but today the only reminder of this is the memorial tower beside National Route 135.

静岡県熱海市(あたみし)街地の南部、魚見崎(うおみざき)南部一帯の海岸。相模灘(さがみなだ)に面する約2キロメートルの海食崖(がい)で、兜(かぶと)岩、烏帽子(えぼし)岩、屏風(びょうぶ)岩などの奇岩、胎内くぐりの海食洞など景勝に恵まれる。かつては自殺の名所として知られていたが、現在は国道（135号）わきの供養塔がそれを伝えるにすぎない。
