Right hand writing style

Japanese: 右筆方 - ゆうひつかた

One of the samurai occupations of the Middle Ages. Refers to the group of legal bureaucrats in the Muromachi Shogunate. They are also called Bugyonin. The Muromachi Shogunate continued the Kamakura Shogunate's system of judicial affairs, placing document-related bureaucrats called Uhitsuji in a judicial organization called Hikitsuke, but when the Hikitsuke system collapsed toward the end of the Nanboku-cho period, the Uhitsuji were concentrated in the Onsho-kata (also called Gozen-satai), and a judicial system was established in which decisions were made in the presence of the Shogun. These Uhitsuji were the Iio, Saito, Matsuda, Sei, Fuse, Jibu, and other families, many of whom were descendants of the Miyoshi and Ota families, who were Kuji Bugyo in the early Kamakura Shogunate.

中世の武家職制の一つ。室町幕府の法曹官僚集団をいう。奉行人とも称する。室町幕府は鎌倉幕府に引き続き，引付という裁判機構の中に文書事務官僚である右筆を置いたが，南北朝末期に引付の制度がくずれると恩賞方(御前沙汰ともいう)に右筆を集中し，将軍臨席の下に裁許を行う裁判制度を始めた。これらの右筆は飯尾，斎藤，松田，清（せい），布施（ふせ），治部（じぶ）などの諸氏で，鎌倉幕府初期の公事奉行人である三善，太田氏らの末裔が多い。
