...A manor that was part of the Todaiji Temple estate and was located in Atsumi County, Mino Province (present-day Akanabe Town, Gifu City). It began in 818 (Kōnin 9) when Princess Sakahito donated the Mino Province Imperially-ordered Atsumi Manor to Todaiji Temple. It fell into disrepair due to being located in a turbulent area of the Kiso River, but was renamed Akanabe Manor and redeveloped by Todaiji Temple's chief priest Mitsuchi in 960 (Tentoku 4), and the four seasons were established. *Some of the terminology that refers to "Atsumi-so" is listed below.
