The title of a Kabuki dance piece. Nagauta. The original title was "Hatsugatsuo no Kiraware Yatsuko (The Playful Slave of the First Bonito)." It first appeared at the Edo Ichimuraza in May 1814 (Bunka 11). It was the April section of the Twelve Transformations Act "Imitating Shiki no Wazaogi (Imitating the Actors of the Three Masu Four Seasons)." The performer was Ichikawa Danjūrō VII. The lyrics were unknown. The composer was Kineya Rokusaburo IV. Choreography was by Fujima Kanjūrō II. In the hills of Edo, Orsuke, whose bonito has been snatched away by a kite, chases after the kite. It is a light-hearted dance that shows the movements of trying to get the bonito back and the movements of sashimi. Later, Danjūrō VIII performed it to a different choreography by Nishikawa Senzō IV. 歌舞伎舞踊の曲名。長唄。本名題《初鰹の戯奴僕(はつがつおのきらわれやつこ)》。1814年(文化11)5月江戸市村座初演。十二変化所作事《倣三升四季俳優(まねてみますしきのわざおぎ)》の4月の部。演者は7世市川団十郎。作詞者不詳。作曲4世杵屋(きねや)六三郎。振付2世藤間勘十郎。江戸の山の手で,鳶に鰹をさらわれた折助が鳶を追いかけて出る。鰹を取り返そうとするさまや鳥刺の振りなどを見せる軽快な踊り。のちに8世団十郎は4世西川扇蔵による別の振付で踊った。
