The central settlement of Futami in the southwest of Iyo City, central Ehime Prefecture. Facing the Iyo Nada Sea, it is located at the mouth of the Kaminada River. Former name of the town. In 1955 it merged with Shimonada Village to form Futami Town. In 2005 it became Iyo City with the merger of Futami Town. Until around 1970, the production of "sarashirou" was thriving. The main industry is Unshu mandarin cultivation. Seafood processing is also carried out. JR Yosan Line Iyo Kaminada Station is located here. 愛媛県中部,伊予市南西部双海の中心集落。伊予灘に面し,上灘川河口に位置する。旧町名。 1955年下灘村と合体して双海町となる。 2005年双海町の合併に伴い伊予市となる。 1970年頃まで「さらしろう」の生産が盛んであった。温州みかん栽培が主産業。水産加工業も行なわれる。 JR予讃線伊予上灘駅がある。
