〘Noun〙 Poetry from the Tang Dynasty in China. It perfected modern poetry such as quatrains and regulated verse, and was considered the most excellent of all classical poetry, and had a great influence on Japanese classical poetry. It is also a general term for classical Chinese poetry in general.
