Phoeniculus

...General term for birds of the family Phoeniculidae in the order Coraciiformes. This family is closely related to the family Hoopoe, and consists of six species of the genus Phoeniculus and two species of the genus Phinopostus . They are found in the African continent south of the Sahara Desert. They are about 20 to 45 cm long.
