Central Siberian Plateau (English: Srednesibirskoe Ploskogor'e)

Japanese: 中央シベリア高原 - ちゅうおうしべりあこうげん（英語表記）Среднесибирское　Плоскогорье／Srednesibirskoe Ploskogor'e

A mid-mountainous region in central Siberia, Russia. It is bordered to the south by the Eastern Sayan and Baikal Mountains, to the west by the Western Siberian lowland and the Yenisei River, and to the north and east by the North Siberian lowland, the central Yakut Hills, and the Lena River. The highest point is the 1,701m flat-topped hill of the Putran Plateau in the northwest, but it is generally a gentle mountain range with summits of around 700-1,000m. It is rich in minerals, producing nickel and copper (near Norilsk), iron ore (Angara and Ilim regions), coal (Tunguska, Cherenkhovo, Kansk), natural gas (Nizhnyaya and Tunguska regions), graphite, and rock salt.

ロシア連邦，シベリア中部の中山性の山地。南は東サヤン山脈，バイカル山脈，西は西シベリア低地とエニセイ川，北と東は北シベリア低地，中央ヤクート丘陵，レナ川で境される。最高点は北西部のプトラン高原の1701m平頂丘だが，通常は頂上が700～1000m程度の従順山系である。鉱産に富み，ニッケル･銅(ノリリスク付近)，鉄鉱石(アンガラ･イリム地方)，石炭(ツングースカ，チェレンホーボ，カンスク)，天然ガス(ニジニャヤ･ツングースカ地方)，石墨，岩塩などを産する。
