...Ni-Cu alloys (Monel metal) and Ni-Mo alloys (Hastelloy B) are alloys that have been strengthened to have strong resistance to alkali and non-oxidizing chlorides. Ni-Cr alloys (Inconel) and Ni-Cr-Mo alloys (Ilium G) are known to have improved corrosion resistance in oxidizing acids through the use of chromium.
