?-? A Buddhist painter from the late Heian period.
In 1131, he painted the Nine-Level Mandala on the back wall of the Buddha at Jobōdai-in Temple, which was built within the Toba Palace (Imperial Palace) in Toba, Yamashiro (Kyoto Prefecture). In 1132, together with Ōgen, he worked on the coloring and pillar paintings at Shokomyo-in Temple, and in 1143, he painted the pillar paintings at Kongōshin-in Temple, contributing to the construction of temples under the cloistered rule of Emperor Toba.

天承元年(1131)山城(京都府)鳥羽の鳥羽殿(院御所)内につくられた成菩提院の仏後壁に九品曼陀羅をえがく。保延(ほうえん)元年応源とともに勝光明院の彩色や柱絵の制作にあたり,久寿元年には金剛心院の柱絵をえがくなど,鳥羽院院政下の寺院造立につくした。法印。
