Second Anglo-American War

Japanese: 第2次英米戦争 - だいにじえいべいせんそう
Second Anglo-American War
A war between Britain and the United States from 1812 to 1814. It is also known as the War of 1812. The United States declared war due to resentment over Britain's interference with American shipping and its ties with the Northwest Indians. The United States was at a disadvantage, but Britain, tired of the war against Napoleon in Europe, did not want to continue the war, and peace was made with the Treaty of Ghent, which determined the border in the northeast, etc.
