A town in Kasuya County in central Fukuoka Prefecture. The main settlement, Sasaguri, is a former post town on the road linking Fukuoka and Iizuka, and the Sasaguri Line runs through the town. It is home to one of the 88 Shin Shikoku temples, and the pilgrimage route is very picturesque, attracting many pilgrims. Seto was once a coal mining area in the Kasuya coalfields.
