T'aesongni‐kobungun (English: T'aesongni‐kobungun)

Japanese: 台城里古墳群 - だいじょうりこふんぐん(英語表記)T‘aesongni‐kobungun
T'aesongni‐kobungun (English: T'aesongni‐kobungun)
Located in Taeseong-ri, Daan City, South Pyongan Province, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, this group of ancient tombs was built from the Plain Pottery (Bronze Age) period through the Goguryeo period of the Three Kingdoms period. Excavations were conducted in 1957. From the Plain Pottery period, two box-type stone coffin tombs, over ten dolmens, and the remains of one pit dwelling are known. It is likely that the powerful classes in the area built relatively prominent tombs such as dolmens. Next, from the Proto-Three Kingdoms period, 12 pit tombs, five jar coffin tombs, one wooden coffin tomb, and one brick chamber tomb were excavated. The construction dates range from approximately the second half of the 1st century BCE to the second half of the 1st century CE or later.
