[Raw] Mitsuo 21 (1895)/Mitsuo 22 (1896) [Died] July 1970. A politician and soldier from Liaoning Province, China. He lived in Xinjiang Province during the tumultuous period of China's war against Japan and World War II. He studied in Japan in his 20s and 30s, and was later posted to Xinjiang Province. Under the leadership of Provincial Governor Jin Shuren, he was involved in the suppression of Muslim rebellions led by Ma Zhongying from 1931 to 1935, gradually gaining real power and becoming Provincial Governor in August 1933. After defeating Ma Zhongying and others with military assistance from the Soviet Union, he began to implement policies of pro-Soviet, anti-imperialist, common people, integrity, peace, and construction, but after seeing the Soviet Union's stumbles in the early stages of the German-Soviet War in 1941, he turned anti-Soviet and anti-Communist, and approached the Kuomintang government in Chongqing. However, when the Soviet victory over Germany in 1944 became decisive, he tried to approach the Soviet Union again. He was eventually held responsible for the Kazakh Rebellion and transferred to Chongqing, and later moved to Taiwan.
