Qingqiu Eigen

Japanese: 青丘永言 - せいきゅうえいげん

This is the first collection of sijo (tanka) poems in Korea, compiled during the Joseon Dynasty. It was edited by Kim Cheon-taek (pen name Nampa), the foremost poet of the Yeongjo Dynasty. Along with Haedong Gayo, it is the most complete collection of poems from the Joseon Dynasty. Currently, there are two versions: the Gyeongseong University edition and the Chinsho Kanko edition. Both are mainly collections of sijo poems from the end of the Goryeo Dynasty to the 18th century. The former contains over 1,100 poems and includes a preface written in 1728 by Jeong Yun-kyung and Kim Cheon-taek. The latter contains 580 poems, and both versions are classified by melody. It was compiled as a music textbook, and the preface says that in addition to excerpts from various scattered documents, it also includes poems that have been handed down orally.

李朝時代に編まれた朝鮮で最初の時調(短歌)集。英祖朝の第一の歌人，金天沢(号，南坡)が編集。《海東歌謡》とともに李朝時代の歌集としては最も完備したものである。現在，《京城大学本》と《珍書刊行本》の2種がある。いずれも高麗末から18世紀当時の時調を中心に収めたもので，前者は千十数首を収め，英祖4年(1728)の鄭潤卿，金天沢らの序文がある。後者は580首を収録し，両本とも曲調別の分類をしている。音楽教本として編集したもので，序文によると散在している各文献から抄録したほか，口碑によるものも採録したとある。
