A hot spring located in the upper reaches of the Kuju River in Kokonoe Town, Kusu District, Oita Prefecture. It is one of the Kokonoe hot spring resorts and belongs to the Aso-Kuju National Park. It is a simple hot spring. 58-63°C. The water is abundant, and the waterfall is famous for its waterfall therapy. A bus can be taken from Bungo-Nakamura Station on the Kyudai Main Line. 大分県玖珠(くす)郡九重(ここのえ)町，玖珠川上流にある温泉。九重温泉郷の一つで阿蘇くじゅう国立公園に属する。単純泉。58〜63℃。湯量が豊富で，湯滝による打たせの療法は有名。久大本線豊後(ぶんご)中村駅からバスが通じる。
