1168‐1208
The 6th Emperor of the Jin Dynasty of China. Reigned 1189-1208. His given name was Wanyanjing. His Jurchen name was Ma Da Ge. He was the grandson of the 5th emperor. He studied the Jurchen language and scriptures as well as Chinese characters and Buddhist scriptures from an early age. During his 19-year reign, he tried to consolidate his ruling system, as seen in the implementation of the Taihe Code, but he suffered from financial difficulties due to internal and external troubles such as the flooding of the Yellow River, invasions by Mongolian nomads, and wars with the Song Dynasty, and the antagonism between the ruling Jurchen people and the ruled Han people became serious, which led to the decline of the Jin Dynasty.

中国，金第6代皇帝。在位1189‐1208年。姓名は完顔璟（かんがんえい）。女真名は麻達葛。第5代皇帝の孫。少年時代から女真語，女真字とともに漢字，経書を学習。19年にわたるその治世は，泰和律令の施行などにみられるように，支配体制を整えようとしたが，黄河の氾濫，モンゴル系遊牧民の侵入，宋との交戦など内憂外患がつづき，財政難に苦しめられ，また，支配民族である女真人と被支配民族である漢人との反目が深刻となり，金朝の衰運をきたした。
