A special vocal technique used in 20th century operas, oratorios, songs, etc. Literally, it means "speaking voice." In normal singing vocal techniques, the body cavity is resonated, the tone is adjusted, and the pitch is maintained as accurately as possible, but Sprechstimme is sung in a speaking manner that is closer to everyday intonation, and is notated as shown in the figure.
