Plain of Jars : A plain that spreads across central Laos. It is located in the northwest of the Annamite Mountains, near Phonsavan. It is 1,200 to 1,400 meters above sea level. There are hundreds of stone jars scattered here and there, dating from 500 BC to 800 AD. They are thought to have been used as sarcophagi, but this is not certain. Changning Plain. 《Plain of Jars》ラオス中部に広がる平原。アンナン山脈の北西、ポーンサワンの近郊に位置する。標高1200～1400メートル。紀元前500年から紀元800年頃のものとされる数百もの石壺が点在。石棺として使用されたと考えられているが、定かではない。チャンニン平原。シエンクアン高原。
