A site where bronze vessels from the Yayoi period were found, located in Sadahongo, Kashima-cho, Yatsuka-gun, Shimane Prefecture. In 1972, the vessels were found on the eastern slope of a narrow valley. Bronze bell Mouth and Bronze sword A set of books was discovered. In 1975, an investigation by the Kashima Town Board of Education uncovered an irregular burial pit, 45cm x 55cm in diameter and 30cm deep, that had been dug into the slope. It was discovered that two bronze bells had been placed inside, lying upside down at an angle, and six bronze swords had been placed on top of them, tied together, with their points pointing downwards. The bronze bells excavated were a type I four-section kesadasuki bell with an outer edge knob and a restored height of 32.2cm, and a flat-knob four-section kesadasuki bell, also 22.3cm tall. 島根県八束郡鹿島町佐陀本郷に所在する弥生時代の青銅器出土地。1972年狭隘な谷間の東斜面から銅鐸口と銅剣本が一括発見された。75年鹿島町教育委員会の調査で,斜面を簡単に掘りくぼめた径45cm×55cm,深さ30cmの不整形な埋納坑が検出され,この中に銅鐸2口を逆さまに斜めにねかせ,その上に切先を下方に向け銅剣6本を束ねた状態で納めていたことが判明した。出土の銅鐸は復元高32.2cmの外縁付鈕I式四区袈裟襷(けさだすき)文鐸と,同じく22.3cmの扁平鈕式四区袈裟襷文鐸である。
