Uterine prolapse

Japanese: 子宮脱 - しきゅうだつ(英語表記)uterine prolapse
Uterine prolapse
An abnormality in the position of the uterus. When the uterus moves pathologically downward into the vaginal cavity, it is called uterine prolapse, and when it protrudes from the vaginal opening, it is called uterine prolapse. It is common in women who have given birth multiple times and elderly women, and occurs due to relaxation of the tissues supporting the uterus. Treatment involves repairing these tissues and the pelvic floor muscles through surgery.
