A tourist resort in south-central Idaho, USA. It is located in the Sawtooth Mountains at an altitude of about 1,800 m. The Union Pacific Railroad built Sun Valley Lodge in 1936, and the area was developed as a ski resort. The area is blessed with a mild climate outside of the winter sports season, making it a popular year-round tourist destination for hiking and fishing.
