However, it is important to note that each of them paid attention to the differences with the feudal system in the West, with Nakata Kaoru regarding the lordship of the manor as a public law right of control, Asakawa Kan'ichi emphasizing the difference between manors and manners, and Maki Kenji focusing on the official and public legal aspects of occupations.
