The title of a koto piece. Composed by Mitsusaki Kengyo. It is composed for two kotos, a high-pitched kaede in Honkumoi-choshi and a low-pitched honte in Hira-choshi. The whole piece is an instrumental piece consisting of five sections (dan), and is one of the Kinutamono. Before the Kinuta, "Sandanjishi" (a sangen piece composed by Sayama Kengyo) is sometimes transferred to the koto, and its song and tegoto sections are added as an introduction, and in the Yamada school, a post-uta is also added. The melody of the low-pitched Hira-choshi is based on "Kinuta" (the original song of the Yamada school's "Yondan Kinuta"), which is said to have been composed by Ikuta Kengyo, and the first half of the fifth section is taken from the fifth section of "Rokudan no shado". The melody of the version currently performed varies slightly depending on the school.
