A book written by Hirata Atsutane. 37 volumes. It was started in 1811 (Bunka 8), but only 28 volumes were written during his lifetime. The rest was compiled by Yano Gendo. It imitates Motoori Norinaga's Kojikiden, but it is limited to the Age of the Gods, and Atsutane wrote his own text using myths and legends, with notes added. The content promotes the claims of Tama no Mihashira, but what is noteworthy is that while Tama no Mihashira states that the secret government of Okuninushi was subordinate to the visible government of the Emperor, this world is called the "false world" and the "secret world" is called the "real world." As Atsutane himself suggested, there is a strong theory that the work shows the influence of Catholic scriptures.
