Kitadakesou - Kitadakesou

A perennial plant of the Ranunculaceae (APG classification: Ranunculaceae) genus C. miyabeanum. It is an alpine plant that grows in the pebble-mixed grasslands of the windswept areas near the summit of Kitadake in the Southern Alps. The stem is about 10 cm tall. The leaves are 3-folded and compound. The flowers are white, about 2 cm in diameter, and bloom one at a time at the end of the stem in June and July. There are about 15 species in this genus distributed in high mountains from Europe to Asia, and in Japan and its vicinity, in addition to this species, there is C. miyabeanum Tatewaki, which is endemic to Mt. Apoi in Hokkaido, C. kirigishiense (Ken Sato et Koji Ito) Kadota, which is endemic to Mt. Kirigishi in Hokkaido, and C. insigne Nakai, which is endemic to northern Korea.

キンポウゲ科(APG分類:キンポウゲ科)ウメザキサバノオ属の多年草。南アルプス北岳の山頂付近の風衝地の小石混じりの草原に特産する高山植物。茎は高さ約10センチメートル。葉は3回3出複葉。花は白色、直径約2センチメートルで、6~7月、茎の先に一つずつ開く。本属はヨーロッパからアジアにかけての高山に約15種分布し、日本とその付近では本種のほかに、北海道アポイ岳特産のヒダカソウC. miyabeanum Tatewaki、北海道崕(きりぎし)山特産のキリギシソウC. kirigishiense (Ken Sato et Koji Ito) Kadota、朝鮮北部のウメザキサバノオC. insigne Nakaiがある。
