The Fudai clan established a jin'ya in Kikuma Village, Ichihara County, Kazusa Province (Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture). In 1868 (Keio 4), when Tokugawa Iesato granted Sunpu 700,000 koku, Mizuno Tadanori, the feudal lord of Numazu Domain in Suruga Province (Shizuoka Prefecture), had Numazu Castle confiscated and his castle-related land of 23,700 koku was transferred to Ichihara County, Kazusa Province, where he established a jin'ya in Kikuma Village. The official land value was 50,000 koku. The clan also had territories in Echigo, Mikawa, and Izu Province. In 1871 (Meiji 4), the clan was abolished in just four years with the abolition of the feudal domains and the establishment of prefectures, and the domain's territory became Kikuma Prefecture, which later became Kisarazu Prefecture, before being incorporated into Chiba Prefecture.
