Ayatsuko
〘 noun 〙 A charm to ward off evil. Usually, when a baby is born , a "・" or "X" is drawn on the baby's forehead with ink. A variation of this is the practice of giving a similar mark with rouge on a girl or writing the character for dog on her forehead.
