…Like many other nomadic people, they passed down the legend of the Heike no Ochiudo (Heike Legend) and considered themselves to be its descendants. Their wives would sell fish in a bucket called a Hanbou, which they carried on their heads. In Shimane and Yamaguchi Prefectures, they were called Kaneri or Noji, and in Hiroshima and Okayama Prefectures, they were called Kaberi.
