Japanese: 抗日民族統一戦線 - こうにちみんぞくとういつせんせん

This policy was proposed in 1935 as a practical implementation of the Comintern's People's Front policy in China, and called for workers, peasants, the middle class, and national capitalists to unite and oppose the aggression of Japanese imperialism. This policy was first put forward in the August 1st Declaration of the Chinese Communist Party in 1935, but it was a difficult task, as it required the cessation of the civil war between the party and the Nanjing government. However, in the midst of Japan's intensifying invasion of northern China, the activities of the National Salvation Association of All Sectors (National Salvation Association, established in June 1936) centered on the urban middle class, and the intensifying conflicts between Japan and the UK and the US, the Xi'an Incident in December 1936 was a turning point, and the second Kuomintang-Communist cooperation was established the following year in 1937, realizing the anti-Japanese national united front.

1935年コミンテルン人民戦線路線の中国における実践として提唱された方針で，労働者，農民，中産階級，民族資本家などが一致団結して日本帝国主義の侵略に対抗するというもの。この方針はまず 35年中国共産党の八・一宣言によって提起されたが，党と南京政府間の内戦停止が前提という困難な課題であった。しかし日本の華北への侵略強化，都市中産階級を中心とする全国各界救国連合会 (全救連，1936.6.成立) の活動，日本対イギリス，アメリカ間の矛盾の激化などの情勢のなかで，36年 12月の西安事件を転機に翌 37年第2次国共合作が成立し抗日民族統一戦線が実現した。
