Anti-Japanese Partisan - Kounichi Partisan

Japanese:
Anti-Japanese Partisan - Kounichi Partisan
The anti-Japanese partisan struggle waged by communists in northeastern China (Manchuria) in the 1930s is considered the spiritual origin of the founding of today's Democratic People's Republic of Korea. After the colonization of Korea in 1910, the northeastern region, centered on Jiandao, had seen a consistent anti-Japanese armed struggle by Korean people using volunteer militias and independence forces. Continuing this tradition, the communist-led armed struggle began in the spring of 1932 after the Manchurian Incident. In accordance with the Comintern's one country, one party policy at the time, these partisan units formally belonged to the Northeast People's Revolutionary Army (since 1934, the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army) under the leadership of the Manchuria Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and played a part in the anti-imperialist struggle by the North Korean and Chinese peoples, but in reality many of the units in eastern and northern Manchuria were mainly Korean (they are called the Korean People's Revolutionary Army in Korean documents).
