Yellow Ting Jing (Huang Ting Jing)

Japanese: 黄庭経 - こうていぎょう（英語表記）Huang-ting-jing

Taoist scriptures. Generally, it is a collective term for two scriptures, "Shangqing Huangting Neijing Jing" and "Shangqing Huangting Waijing Jing," but it can also refer to other scriptures such as "Huangting Dunjia Ensemble Body Classic," "Huangting Wuzang Liufu Zhenren Yuji Jing," "Shangqing Huangting Nourishing Nerve," and "Taoshang Huangdi Zhongjing Jing." Huangting refers to the spleen (or the brain or heart, depending on the book), and the "Huangting Jing" also discusses the functions of the human body in general. Therefore, it can also be considered a type of medical book.

道教経典。一般には，『上清黄庭内景経』『上清黄庭外景経』の2経の総称であるが，それ以外の『黄庭遁甲縁身経』『黄庭五蔵六府真人玉軸経』『上清黄庭養神経』『太上黄帝中景経』などをさして総称する場合もある。黄庭とは脾臓 (本によっては，脳中か心中) をさし，『黄庭経』は人体の機能一般をも論じている。したがって，医書の一種とみることもできる。
