Irish National Assembly - Dáil Éirean
The Irish parliament was established in Dublin in January 1919. In the British general election held at the end of 1918, the Sinn Féin party won an overwhelming victory in Ireland, and its members refused to attend parliament, establishing the Irish National Assembly and declaring the Irish Free State.
