Guardini
German Catholic theologian. Born in Verona, Italy. He served as professor at universities in Berlin and elsewhere, and led the Catholic Youth Movement and the Liturgical Renewal Movement after World War I. His works include The Spirit of the Liturgy (1918) and The End of Modernity (1950).
