[Seji Tsukō]④ In Japan, the structure of theatrical performances and kyogen. A script for a play. Also, rewriting novels, documentaries, and incidents into the form of a screenplay for a play, movie, or broadcast, or writing them from scratch. A person. Also, the contents. ※Noriko (1928) by Miyamoto Yuriko: “There are people who are comfortable irresponsibly embellishing the facts.” [Eloquence] (1) In the early modern period, the meaning of ④ was different from “mechanism” and was written as “shigumi” in the words, “The ever-changing rumors of theatrical performances, the splendor of kyogen , are seen as real ” (Ukiyo-zoshi, Koshoku Ichidai Onna, vol. 4). Even during the Meiji period, "drafting" was sometimes used to write "mechanism," as in Shoyo Tsubouchi's "Tosei Shosei Kajitsu - 7," "The main story is necessary for the dramatization (structure) of the entire story."
(2) The Chinese-derived word "draft" was pronounced "kyakushiki" in its Japanese pronunciation until the early Meiji period, and "kyakushiki" is used frequently in Shoyo's "The Essence of Novels." It was probably from the late Meiji period that it began to be pronounced "kyakushoku" in its Japanese pronunciation. → Origin of the word "kyakuhon (script)"
