Haikai seasonal collection. Written by Kitamura Kigin. Published in 1647 (Shoho 4) and published the following year. Under the heading of the seasonal theme, synonyms and related words are listed, with explanations in an elegant style and example haiku. The total number of seasonal words, including subheadings, exceeds 1,300, making this the first full-scale seasonal collection that far surpasses similar books. However, it also contains 591 example haiku, and takes on the character of a collection of haiku. It is thought that the motivation for writing this book was to side with Morosadamura and oppose Shigeyori's Kefukigusa Addition (1647).
