Kabuki kyogen. Sewamono. 5 acts. Also known as Kobori Seidan Tennin Musume (The Heavenly Maiden of Political Affairs). Commonly known as Yukanba Kichisa (Yukanba Kichisa), Kobori Seidan, and Tenninko (The Incense of Heavenly Maidens). Written by Kawatake Mokuami. First performed at the Nakamuraza Theater in Tokyo in July 1869 (Meiji 2). Cast included Onoe Kikugorou 5 as Yukanba Kichisa, the maidservant Osugi, and Dozaemon Denkichi, Bando Mitsugorou 6 as Omitsu, the mistress of Yushima, and Tennin Oshichi, and Nakamura Nakataro as Benhide and Yaoya Kushiro. 歌舞伎狂言。世話物。5幕。別名題《小堀政談天人娘(こぼりせいだんてんにんむすめ)》。通称《湯灌場吉三(ゆかんばきちさ)》《小堀政談》《天人香》。河竹黙阿弥作。1869年(明治2)7月東京中村座初演。配役は湯灌場吉三・腰元お杉・土左衛門伝吉を5世尾上菊五郎,愛妾おみつ実は湯島のおかん・天人お七を6世坂東三津五郎,弁秀・八百屋久四郎を中村仲太郎等。乾坤坊良斎(けんこんぼうりようさい)の講釈《小堀騒動》に八百屋お七をからめた脚色。
