Japanese: 木曾岬[町] - きそさき

A town in Kuwana County, northeastern Mie Prefecture. Established as a town in 1989. A waju settlement on the east bank of the downstream Kiso River, it was a spindle-shaped isolated island between the Kiso River to the west and the Nabeta River to the east until recently, but the Nabeta River was closed off at both ends in the 1959 Ise Bay Typhoon disaster restoration project, and the town is now connected to the mainland. Most of the cultivated land is below sea level. The Meisho National Highway linking Nagoya and Yokkaichi has been opened. In addition to rice farming, greenhouse horticulture for growing vegetables, tomatoes, melons, etc. is thriving. 15.74 ^km2 . 6,855 people (2010).

三重県北東部，桑名郡の町。1989年町制。木曾川下流東岸の輪中(わじゅう)集落で，近年まで西の木曾川，東の鍋田川に挟まれた紡錘形の孤島だったが，1959年の伊勢湾台風の災害復旧で鍋田川を上下流で締め切り陸続きになった。耕地のほとんどが海抜0m以下。名古屋と四日市を結ぶ名四国道が開通。米作のほかハウス野菜やトマト，メロンなどの施設園芸が盛ん。15.74km²。6855人（2010）。
