Teacher - Kyoushi

Japanese: 教士 - きょうし

〘Noun〙① One of the titles given by the All Japan Kendo Federation to those in Kendo, Iaido, and Jodo. It is the next title given to those who have reached the rank of 5th Dan, and are required to pass a certain examination, in the order of Hanshi, Kyoshi, and Renshi.
