Kabuki script. Domestic story. Three acts. Written by Kawatake Mokuami. Titled " Fujitomisuuehirosoga, " it was first performed at the Morita Theater in Edo in 1866 ( 2nd year of the Keio era ). The story is about Matsugoro the tinsmith, who sees the lavish entertainment of a pleasure boat from the top of Hanamizu Bridge, becomes disgusted with his humble life, and turns to evil.
