Japanese: 城山[町] - しろやま

A former town in Tsukui District, northern Kanagawa Prefecture. Located where the Sagami River flows into Sagamihara, the central settlement of Kawajiri developed as a market town and the terminus of shipping. In recent years, tourism and agriculture have become popular. In 1965, Shiroyama Dam was completed, and Lake Tsukui, an artificial lake that straddles the neighboring city of Sagamihara to the west, has become a popular tourist destination. In March 2007, it was incorporated into Fujino Town, Tsukui District, and Sagamihara City. ^{19.90 km2} . Population: 23,060 (2005).

神奈川県北部，津久井郡の旧町。相模川が相模原へ出る地にあり，中心集落の川尻は舟運の終点，市場町として発達。近年は観光農業が盛ん。1965年城山ダムが完成，西隣の相模原市にまたがる人造湖の津久井湖は行楽地になっている。2007年３月，津久井郡藤野町と相模原市へ編入。19.90km²。２万3060人（2005）。
