Kitamusashi region

...The former castle town of Kawagoe was closely connected to Edo, and the atmosphere of Edo remains in the streets lined with storehouses, and many people visit it as a day trip destination near the capital. (2) Kitamusashi (northern part of the prefecture) The area consists of six cities, centered on Kumagaya, and surrounding towns and villages. The southwestern part is part of the Sotochichibu Mountains, and the rest of the area is made up of plateaus and lowlands, but because it is more than 50 km from the city center, it has not become as urbanized as the Kyoto-Saikan area.
