Salto Angel is a waterfall in Auyantepui, Guiana Highlands, eastern Venezuela. Its 979m drop is the largest in the world. The central part of the Guiana Highlands, including this waterfall, is designated as Canaima National Park, and in 1994, it was registered as a World Heritage Site (natural heritage). Angel Falls.
