Semiotic Semantics

…G. Frege was the first to study logical semantics in detail, and its development was contributed to by logicians belonging to the Lwów-Warsaw School in Poland, such as J. Lukasiewicz, T. Kotarbinski, K. Adzkiewicz, T. Tarski, and others such as R. Carnap and W. Quine. This logical semantics has a wide range of applications with the development of mathematical linguistics, machine translation, automatic information processing, etc. General semantics is the application of semantics in the sense of semiotic semantics to psychology, sociology, politics, aesthetics, etc., and is different from CW Morris's general theory of signs and Carnap's theory of semantic interpretation.
