Hua Tuo - Kada

Japanese:
Hua Tuo - Kada

Date of birth and death unknown. A famous doctor from the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) in China. A native of Bo County, Anhui Province. His courtesy name was Yuanhua, and he was also known as Fu. Cao Cao of Wei, who suffered from a chronic illness of dizziness, refused to let go of Hua Tuo, who treated him with acupuncture, as his personal physician. However, Hua Tuo was killed for not complying with his request (207 or 208). In 208, Cao Cao lost his beloved son Cangshu to illness and lamented, "I regret having killed Hua Tuo. By killing him, I caused the death of this child." Hua Tuo is regarded as a master of surgery in the history of Chinese medicine. In addition to surgical treatment, he also practiced medicine, acupuncture, and moxibustion, and created the Five Birds Exercise (a physical training method).
