Kanto Hisashiban

…Although the shogunate was technically a branch office of the central government, its operation was led by the Ashikaga clan, and it essentially became a base for the samurai power centered around the clan. In January of the following year, 39 members of the Ashikaga clan and vassals, including Kira Sadaie, Isshiki Yoriyuki, and Takashi Muneaki, were stationed in the Kanto Hisashiban to organize a military structure.
