〘Noun〙 A kariginu with a wide strip of cloth ( brocade ) added to the hem. It was worn by retired emperors, princes, ministers, generals and above. A brocade kariginu. Konoushi . Sobatsug. ※Azuma Kagami - June 1, 1257 (Shoka Year 1), "Ichijo Chamberlain Sadauji Magistrate presided over two people . The Shogun's family ordered the establishment of the kariginu naoshi."
