Kakokai - Kakokai

Japanese:
Kakokai - Kakokai

One of the nationalistic revolutionary groups that emerged in China at the end of the Qing Dynasty. After the Boxer Rebellion (1900), as Chinese intellectuals, such as students studying in Japan, became revolutionary, revolutionary organizations were formed all over China. In Hunan Province, in February 1904, Huaxing Society was formed in the provincial capital (Changsha) by over 500 people, including Song Jiaoren and Chen Tianhua, with Huang Xing as chairman. Aiming to "establish a stronghold in one province and cause trouble in other provinces," they teamed up with a secret society (a faction of the Ge Lao Hui) to form the Dokyuu Society, and planned an armed uprising against the Qing Dynasty in November, but their plan was leaked in advance and they failed, so Huang, Song and others fled to Japan. The following year, when various revolutionary factions came together to form the China Tongminghui in Tokyo, the Huaxinghui became one of its influential constituent organizations.
